This monograph is devoted to the problems of the origin and development of the human language in general, as well as of the individual languages of the world, peoples who speak them, according to the latest data of science.

Moreover, issues related to the essence and functions of language are discussed mainly taking into consideration the hypotheses and theories put forward in recent decades. For the first time, an attempt is made to present the views and propositions put forward by linguistics, archeology, biology, psychology, cultural studies and other related disciplines on the above-mentioned issues in the most accessible way.
