The textbook treats experimental psychology as an independent discipline that develops the theory, methods, and practice of psychological research. The methodological foundations of psychological research are analyzed in detail, the classification and characteristics of empirical methods are described. An experimenter’s dictionary (in Armenian) has been compiled. The procedure and organizational features of the psychological experiment have been described. 

Psychological research is presented as a unique process of scientific cognition with its own logic and stages. 

The manual is addressed to students, PhD students and tutors of the Faculty of Psychology, as well as all those interested in psychological researches.
