This collective edition presents the research results on different contemporary spheres of religious life in Armenia from the perspective of religious and theological studies. The analytical research deals, for example, with the actual revivals and further developments of the earliest belief forms in the religious life of Armenians (fetishism, totemism, animism, magiс). As separate subjects for the studies become the foundational questions within Armenian marriages and families, such as the role of women and given solutions from the viewpoint of traditional theology, or also the general religious evaluation of the marriage. In concern of the last known actions in Armenia (the second Artsakh war), the problems with the usage of theology in practical life are studied and analyzed according to the context of new events. Besides that, the discussion has been started on the reshaping of contemporary principles of practical theology and solving the problems of reliable and comprehensive criteria within our public life by using the rich ecclesiastical experience of spiritual counseling.
