At the beginning of the lecture, Yulia Antonyan, Associate Professor of the Chair of Cultural Studies, said that the lecture was one of the lectures that are organized by the Chair regularly. "Today we are honored to host Krikor Beledian, who is the author of numerous literary works."
Krikor Beledian said, that History of Armenian literature of 1900-1920 is not seriously studied.
While presenting his work, the author stated that he had worked on it for a long time, studying numerous archival materials, press responses, and rare publications. "When you are creating a work it is very important to study different materials to understand the whole period."
In his work "Armenian Futurism" Krikor Beledian wrote abou the three centers of Armenian futurism: Polis, Tbilisi and Yerevan.
During the lecture, he presented how the movement spread to these centers.
