Organization and management of the databases. Statistical, econometric and factorial analysis of the databases, elaboration of indicators and indexes. Design of data collection tools: development of the methodologies for quantitative and qualitative surveys and polls.
Modelling at micro and macro levels, statistical and econometric analysis. Development of research tools and methods, analysis and presentation of the results. Analytical writing, preparation of analytical papers, reports and articles.

Lecturing of courses on econometrics and application of econometric analysis in macroeconomics to baccalaureate and magistracy students. Training of magistracy students: usage of the SPSS and Eviews statistical software possibilities in the econometric analysis at macro and micro levels.

Design, elaboration and implementation of the methodologies and strategies for monitoring and evaluation at project level. Development of a set of input, output, outcome and impact indicators and indexes for project monitoring.

Elaboration/calculation of the set of HD, human poverty and localized MDG indicators (based on LSMS 2004 database analysis) for the analytical work and statistical annexes of the upcoming NHDR. Elaboration of the methodological approaches for design, institutionalisation and operation of PRSP Participatory Monitoring System (See: N. Jrbashyan, “PRSP Monitoring System in Armenia. Methodological Approaches. 2002). Participation in the development of the Monitoring System for PRSP. Development of the methodology of the survey-census of the 930 communities of the country and estimation of the humanitarian assistance vs. community development needs of the vulnerable communities. Preparation of the questionnaire for surveying all communities of the country, survey database analysis and preparation of the report “Humanitarian Assistance and Community Development Needs in Armenia” (See the list of publications).
