At the beginning of the meeting, Satanik Abrahamyan, President of Vardanank RDA welcomed  guests and thanked YSU acting Rector Gegham Gevorgyan for attending the meeting. She  noted that today is a very important day for them, as it is Vardan Hovhannisyan's Remembrance Day.

‘For the relatives of the student-freedom fighters and the residents of Vardanank, the university is very important. Wherever we are, we are presenting our university with our 25 years of activity and programs, ”said S. Abrahamyan talking about the events dedicated to their 100th anniversary.

Acting Rector  Gegham Gevorgyan said that the university was created in a very difficult time. ‘Despite that, everything was done to make it happen. This is also a lesson for us that we can take on very difficult conditions and succeed in doing great things. This lesson was very important to me’.

At the end of the event the students' relatives of  freedom fighters and the members of the military-patriotic education club "Vardanank" were distributed by the University Publishing biography book.
