Protection of human rights, in particular right of access to information and freedom of expression.

Professional activities:
- Legal counseling and Advocacy on Freedom of Information legislation (3500 people were provided with legal aid)
- Drafting and lobbying activities for the Armenian Freedom of Information Law and relevant legislation (the Armenian FOI law was adopted by the National Assembly on 23 September, 2003)
- Trainings for citizens, journalists, NGO representatives and state officials on FOI legislation (about 100 trainings were conducted in recent 4 years, 48 are planned for coming to years)
- Fundraising activities (669,684 684 USD was fundraised since August 2001)
- Public Campaigning for Freedom of Information (TV talk shows, articles, conferences, FOI annual award ceremonies were organized)
