Several works, telling us about the glorious way of 90 years old Alma Mater, were presented to the reader. More than ten books are published on this occasion and nine of them were presented today.

This is some kind of a record, as more than 320 books were published in YSU in these two years. Now we can say for sure that no valuable work can remain unreleased today. And these books provide this anniversary with unique magnificence, - said YSU Rector Aram Simonyan in his opening speech.

In the book-album Yerevan State University our reader can find the history and activities of YSU faculties as well as all departments and subdivisions. There are also previously unreleased photographs. This album is our pride. We can represent it to our universitarians and foreign colleagues, - said with great feeling of pride YSU Public Relations and Information Administration Head Karen Grigoryan.

Yerevan State University: Chronology includes the complete history of Alma Mater - 1919-2009. By the way, this work is unique, as Alma Mater complete history is presented in one book for the first time. Here are published facts, which used to be classified as secret for many years, the facts which inspire each Universitarian with infinite feeling pride,-said YSU Museum of History Director Zhak Manoukyan. Another splendid work is headed Yerevan State University: Biographical Encyclopedia. Here our reader can find complete biographical information about former and current outstanding representatives of YSU professorial staff, rectors, vice-rectors, first generation invited lectures, current deans. The total number of biographies is 525.

Yerevan State University in Chronicles includes all important official documents, where the focus is made on YSU. The book Word of the Heart includes the speeches and just warm words of famous personalities about YSU and Lyrics of University literary-artistic compilation includes anthems, odes and lyric poems about YSU, authors of which are Alma Mater scholars of different years.
