1997 - 1998: Invited researcher at the Universität Wuerzburg, Germany, on the project "The operation of extension of groups and certain special constructions of group classes" supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Supervisor of the project: Professor Hermann Heineken.
1994 - 1997 and 1998 - 2002: Assistant at the Department of Informatics and Applied Mathematics, Yerevan State University, Yerevan, Armenia.
1993 - 1994: Junior researcher at the research group Applications of Ring theory methods in the theory of groups, M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, Mech.-Mat. Faculty. Supervisor of the group: Professor Alfred L. Shmel'kin.
