In recent years YSU Publishing House has expanded the geography of its activities and actively establishes contacts and cooperation with the European partners. One of such achievements was the affiliation to Association of European University Presses.

Dozens of publishing houses of the leading European universities or research institutions are among the members of this association. YSU Publishing House has received the status of the full member at once.

This means that our side has right to attend the annual forums, as well as participate in the decision-making process of this sector, etc. Membership also enables the implementation of joint activities in the framework of the international book fairs.

AEUP has first studied the history, activities, policy, legal regulations and relations with authors, issues related to the professional ethics, international relations of YSU Publishing House before it received the status of the full member.

“The membership is a good opportunity to establish contacts with new partners and implement joint projects. Also, in this way we integrate into the international publishing processes, which can also contribute to the development of the local market,” - says Director of YSU Publishing House Karen Grigoryan.
