The second edition of “ArmBookExpo” was organized by the National Library of Armenia. The participants were from 53 countries and the books presented were in over 32 languages. Unlike the first time in 2012, held in the framework of the events Yerevan World Book Capital and 500th Anniversary of Armenian Printing, this year it was held as part of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.
According to the Director of YSU Publishing House Karen Grigoryan over 50 books published in the last 2-3 years are exhibited here today. Books published by YSU were exhibited at the pavilion of Armenian and Artsakh books.
“Books exhibited by YSU, are mainly about the Armenian Genocide, the Armenian Issue and in general Armenia and are primarily historical in nature. Of course, there is also fiction literature. Here I would highlight recently published novel “White Mountain”by Spanish writer Gonzalo Guarch, the last part of his trilogy,” - said Karen Grigoryan, adding that in recent years the university publishing house has been active in publishing mainly scientific works of YSU researchers.
According to Karen Grigoryan, YSU Publishing House will participate in major exhibitions in Frankfurt and Beirut in October.
